niet de enige. De meeste mensen kijken zo snel mogelijk na de trekking of zij ook wat gewonnen hebben. En wanneer jij gewonnen hebt, ga je natuurlijk zo snel mogelijk met het winnende lot naar de winkel. Dit is echter niet bij iedereen het geval.
In België wordt namelijk nog steeds gezocht naar de vierde winnaar van de EuroMillions Miljonairs-trekking van 23 februari. Deze persoon heeft zich nog steeds niet gemeld. De Nationale Loterij roept deze persoon nu echter op zich alsnog te melden. Het zou immers zonde zijn als zijn prijs komt te vervallen.
Torenhoge jackpot en extra prijzen
De Belg die momenteel nog gezocht wordt, nam waarschijnlijk vanwege de hoge jackpot deel aan de trekking van 23 februari. Tijdens deze speciale trekking had de EuroMillions-jackpot namelijk een hoogte van 174 miljoen euro. Daarnaast zouden er gegarandeerd 25 winnaars van één miljoen euro zijn, verdeeld over de negen deelnemende landen aan EuroMillions. De winkans was dus behoorlijk wat groter dan bij een gewone trekking van deze Europese loterij.
Hoe werkt EuroMillions?
Bij EuroMillions is het niet alleen een kwestie van betalen en een lot kopen. Nee, je moet zelf namelijk zes nummers kiezen tussen de 1 en de 50. Daarnaast kies je ook nog eens twee Lucky Stars. Dit zijn getallen tussen de 1 en 12. Alleen wanneer alle cijfers overeenkomen met de getrokken getallen, gaat de jackpot eruit. Dat was tijdens de trekking van 23 februari niet het geval. Toch waren er 25 winnaars. Dit kwam dankzij de speciale My Bonus-code. Deze code wordt niet zelf gekozen, maar wordt automatisch toegekend aan de loten door de computer. De Belg die momenteel nog gezocht wordt, won met deze speciale code een bedrag van één miljoen euro.
Vier Belgen in de prijzen
In totaal vielen er vier Belgen in de prijzen dankzij de My Bonus-code. Drie van hen merkten dit vrij snel. Zij hebben zich dan ook al lang en breed gemeld met hun winnende lot. Van de vierde persoon ontbreekt vooralsnog dus ieder spoor. De Nationale Loterij roept de vierde Belg op niet te lang te wachten.
Gewonnen geldbedragen kunnen namelijk tot twintig weken na de trekking geïnd worden. De onbekende Belg heeft nog wel even de tijd, want hij kan zijn prijs tot zaterdag 14 juli in ontvangst nemen. Hij doet er echter goed aan zijn prijs zo snel mogelijk af te halen, want voor hetzelfde geld laat hij een bedrag van één miljoen euro lopen. En dat is natuurlijk eeuwig zonde!
De reden?
Aangezien de vierde Belg zich nog niet gemeld heeft, blijft het vooralsnog gissen naar de reden. Mogelijk wil de persoon in kwestie zijn prijs wel niet in ontvangst nemen. Dat kunnen wij ons echter niet voorstellen. Wie wil er nou geen één miljoen euro bijschrijven op zijn rekening?!
Een andere reden kan natuurlijk zijn dat de vierde Belg gewoon nog niet weet dat hij gewonnen heeft. Ook dit is niet heel aannemelijk, al weet je het met Belgen natuurlijk nooit. De kans is dan ook groot dat winnaar nummer vier zijn lot gewoon kwijt is geraakt. En dat zou natuurlijk bijzonder zuur zijn. Zonder zijn lot kan hij namelijk fluiten naar de één miljoen euro!
Tip: ga online spelen
Ga jij ook nog steeds naar de winkel om loten voor de eerstvolgende EuroMillions-trekking te kopen? Dan loop jij natuurlijk ook het risico je lot te verliezen. Wanneer je niets wint, is dit natuurlijk geen probleem. Maar dat is wel het geval wanneer er een prijs valt op jouw lot. Het is dan ook aan te raden om voortaan online mee te spelen met de Europese loterij.
Waarom?
Omdat dit vele voordelen heeft. Ten eerste kun jij je loten namelijk gewoon via het internet kopen. Dit scheelt je de nodige tochtjes naar de winkel. Ten tweede ontvang jij het prijzengeld automatisch wanneer je online speelt. Door online te spelen, loop jij dus niet het risico een prijs mis te lopen. Dit geldt overigens niet alleen voor EuroMillions, maar ook voor andere buitenlandse loterijen.
