Eerder meldden we al dat de BankGiro Loterij fors in de fout ging met gratis tickets voor de Efteling die bij vele Nederlanders in de bus vielen. Gratis bleken deze tickets natuurlijk niet te zijn en dat stond naar oordeel van ‘n boze speelster en de rechter met net iets te kleine lettertjes in de voorwaarden die de BankGiro Loterij hanteerde voor deze actie.
Het is niet de eerste keer dat de zogenaamde Goede Doelen Loterijen (VriendenLoterij, Nationale Postcode Loterij en BankGiro Loterij) negatief in het nieuws komen. Jaarlijks halen deze loterijen wel de media met misleidende reclameboodschappen of omdat mensen worden voorzien van ongewenste reclame. Deze loterijen zijn hier ook al diverse keren voor veroordeeld, hebben hier ook boetes voor ontvangen, maar zijn kennelijk erg hardleers. In een open brief, die te lezen is op de webpagina van de Kansspelautoriteit, beloven deze Goede Doelen Loterij nu beterschap!
Uiteraard verdient iedereen een tweede kans, maar inmiddels is dit al de vijfde of de zesde kans van deze Goede Doelen Loterijen. Er liggen diverse veroordelingen van de rechter, waarbij de rechter heeft vastgesteld dat de reclameboodschappen van deze loterijen niet door de beugel kunnen en waarbij deze loterijen veroordeeld zijn tot boetes en schadevergoedingen.
